Gaza in particular, and Palestine in general, figure barely at all on the print or TV news in New Zealand anymore. ‘Normal’ life has resumed, for some at least. For others - and the article seems right to me to suggest this is a generational rupture, a reckoning that denial can’t undo - the fact that everything goes on becomes and sustains the outrage.
